1926 Diesel Harbor Tug "John W. Van Pelt"/"Wrestler"

length: 50 ft, beam: 13' 6'', Model size: 1/48th scale: 12 1/2'' x 3 5/8''. 1/24th scale: 25'' x 6 3/4''. Designed For Capt. James W. Van Pelt for use in New York Harbor. Later sold and re-named Wrestler, she was home ported in Camden Maine, The tug was listed as being out of documentation in 1981.The plans are offered in two sizes, 1/48th scale and 1/24th scale and include outboard profile, inboard profile, deck plan, deck framing plan and cabin plan. An attractive small traditional tug model, either for display or radio control. Photos incl. along with some historical data on the boat and its 1925 vintage Cooper-Bessemer engine.
